My wife and I have frequented Grille on the Main for many years especially since they offer a lot of Gluten Free options. During our last two visits we noted that the quality of the food has really changed. The Gluten Free ( GF) Calamari was not crispy and was soaked with oil. We took another couple with us this past weekend and we all got the Surf and Turf special which was $28. Good price for a Surf and Turf dish but the meat smelled like it was old and had a funny taste and it was so tough it was hard to cut. the mash potatoes were just lukewarm and very salty. Very disappointed and won't go back! I have to say the service was very good. We complained about the food and we were offered two free deserts for the awful food. I asked that two meals be taken off the bill because it was so bad and we could not eat most of it. The manager took off two meals and didn't charge for the desert. We appreciated that very much and the waitress said she hoped we would give them another try. I don't know if the chef has changed oar what has happened but the quality of food which use to be good has drastically changed.
