In New York City any hotel with one hundred plus rooms is a true classic. The Roosevelt Hotel is in a real classic class of it's own. Throwback to the Gilded Age, oh yeah. Perfect for a 50+ year wedding anniversary honeymoon renewal weekend ... Go for it. Spruced up and recently repriced the smaller rooms are very reasonable ... I can't say I could even afford to look in the big ones but you feel big and rich just walking to the elevator Bank period and all of those walls in the elevator to talk with a history of New York they would share.
