Great overall experience; drinks were great and some dishes were stellar!
The one Michelin star is well deserved; we were very well taken care of, even as walk-in customers. We got the bar seating and it was great. Bartenders were experts, helpful and nice. Some of the dishes like the ceviche made us OOhhh and Ahh with delight - when you respond that way to food and flavors you can't wait to eat more. The only dish we didn't think was that great was the mackerel curry; would still rate it 7 out of 10; excellent fish, but the flavor of the red thin curry was not hitting the spot for us. The sticky rice was sooo good, could have eaten that just alone. Staff was cordial, informed and very helpful in advising on wine, dishes and so on. Not the place to go if you are looking for cheaper Thai food in large quantities. If you are in that mood, SF has plenty of other options for you. This cozy eatery is there to delight and challenge your palate. Can't wait to eat there again!
