I work for Helping Hands Healthcare and it was one of the best choices I ever made in my life. I had experience working in a nursing home which was not a great fit for me because of the horribly long shifts I was required to work. I felt like I gave up my biggest passion in life (being a mom) in order to put food on the table. I became friends with my daughters friends Mom who was in home health care. She raved about being able to " make her own hours" in order to fit her life. I took a leap of faith and quit a very unhappy work life at a factory in 2017 to take control of my life and happiness. From the day of my interview Helping Hands has kept their promise to work me the hours I choose. These past two years have been the happiest years of my life because I have been able to be the Mom I have desperately longed to be while making lifelong friends/ almost family with my clients. There is a saying " happy wife... Happy life." In my case its " Happy work life, happy life." I thank Helping Hands and my clients for allowing me to make a dream come true. Thank you!
