Very high-end hotel, however extremely misleading. At first glance, it seemed wonderful. Balconies, 20+ stories, Fourth of July, and wonderful fireworks. What s there not to love? We called in early and got a reservation for a room on the 21st floor, with a balcony, and an amazing view to the river. Upon arrival, we are greeted by very friendly staff. Once we get to the front desk, however, it seems to go downhill from there. We were told that due to a change to their safety protocol , the balconies are locked and can only be opened a few inches. Their pool was broken, we got a room on the 19th floor, which is not what we called ahead for. We also got a room on the completely opposite side of the hotel than what we asked for. Not only are the balconies locked, pool broken, but we re on the wrong side of the hotel so we d miss the fireworks entirely, which is why we booked this hotel in the first place. Other than a few mess ups arrangement wise, it couldn t be at a better spot. Very close to both the Subway, but also near many restaurants as well. Overall, somewhat professional staff and amazing position. Would recommend, however it depends on the context.
