We love this zoo, up near Clifton. Easy to access. Onsite chargeable parking, or roadside pay & display parking with a generous 5 hour limit.
Beautiful layout, gardens are currently alive with colour (April). Wide variety of animals to see, flamingos, lion, reptiles, bats, aquarium, butterfly house, monkeys,gorillas, hippos and more....our favourite of this visit were the ring-tailed lemurs. You can walk through their enclosure. The family unit were on form including 3 new additions.
Also loved the penguin and sea lions.
In addition a lovely play area for the younger children along with other activities and a high ropes course for the older ones and adults (at an extra cost). We thought it was a great day out and value for money.
