Times have changed and not for the better. I recently went to King's Dominion after being away for a few years and they've gotten worse. The park now charges you to store your belongings at a rate of $2 for 2 hours while you wait in line. This fee is charged at the Intimidator 305, Flight of Fear, and Twisted Timbers just to store simple things like the souvenir drink bottle ($14) or anything you would traditionally store in the bins at the ride. Now you can't even get in the 2 hour long line at Flight of Fear with something to drink. Food prices continue to be insane ($4.25 for 20oz bottled water). We all know amusement park prices are hiked, but there comes a point where you are just ripping your customers off for no actual benefit to them and just adding to your bottom line. King's Dominion has now reached that point. Once a place I loved to visit with family and friends, now a place that will take money at every possible chance. Shame.
