I brought a friend to this store so he could purchase a SIM card to use during his stay in Colombia. Everything seemed to be going fine until the salesman said it was all set up and we could leave. My friend tested his phone and had no service at all, so we told the salesman it wasn t set up properly. He messed with the phone and eventually asked another salesman for help. An hour later things still weren t working so we requested a supervisor. It took more than fifteen minutes to locate her and she wasn t able to resolve the problem. Finally she called over the Apple rep who was in the store to see if he could figure out why the iPhone X wasn t working with the SIM. Then she promptly disappeared, not staying to ensure that the problem was ever resolved. The Apple rep eventually determined that the SIM card was bad, and by now we had been standing in the store for two hours. Our original salesman then tried to locate another SIM to sell to my friend, even though my friend was asking for all his money back. We just wanted to leave at that point. Ten minutes later he still didn t have his money, nor did he have a functional SIM. So we just left. It is inexcusable for the help to be this inept and the supervisors to be this absentee. We should not have had to wait two hours just to find out what was wrong, nor should it take more than ten minutes to issue a refund. I have no idea how long refunds actually take since we never actually got one. My friend is now out COP45000 and has no phone service. This was a wasted afternoon and we will be visiting a competitor tomorrow. For my future visits I will also never use Claro again.
