Horrible place. My sister was in a car crash and taken there. they made her wait in a room, for an entire day they didn't give her anything for her broken leg until a doctor sees her. After two hours of no doctor i ask the nurse where is this doctor and they told me no one told them to page one. After we ask for one hour straight they finally gave her morphine but then we discover she was was having a side effects and we ask if they can can give her something else. They told us we need to wait for the 'doctor' once again but continue to give her morphine even after the fact we told them she is having side effects. They took her blood five times because they keep leaving the vile on the table when they come back to get another i ask about this vile that was left there. The nurse says, oh this is where i left it." By the time they admit her to the hospital it was Midnight she came in at noon. All but two nurses that is responsible care were always late for her pain med we timed the time from when she was given and the time for her next dose and they were always an hour late. i call them when they were 30 min late telling she is starting to be in pain so they told us that they will be there is a minute with an attitude. But they would come an hour and half later.When we ask why they are always late they told us that they are weaning her off the pain killers. (this was before her surgery) We were afraid to leave her alone there that they would neglect her if there were family was there. With a broke leg she could not go to the bathroom so the nurses would have to come in to help her to use a restroom. two times they send in male nurses to help. The first time we can understand but after the first time we ask kindly if we could have a female nurse to help since my sister is not comfortable getting help from the male nurse. But they send a another one in the same day. Across the hall a gentle man was crying out for help when he was in pain and the nurses and no one check on him for a whole day. He finally called to be release and they hurry over to help him out. two nurse was wonderful Kim that was very kind and try to keep on top of her med, another an older woman was wonderful. Once she found out that one of us was staying in the room with her. She found use a mattress we can use to sleep on instead of sleeping on the chairs. sadly with theses wonderful women it still made the stay miserable. i do not wish anyone got there. The only best thing is the patience first. I refuse to go there when I need to in fear I will get the same treatment. I go to Fredrick instead. Do not go here
