It is absolutely the best help for pregnant women ...

It is absolutely the best help for pregnant women in this area. The house was so quiet, clean, modern and cozy like a 5-star hotel! The birds were signing each night)) And a small bunny with his family came sometimes in the yard. It was so pleasant. Everything is well organized, all people are so respectful and really willing to help! Surprisingly, I read some bad reviews. I think such people think that everybody in the world is laid under an obligation to help them for free. It's not a right position. Rules exist to put everything in order, and they are necessary but absolutely not over pressuring. If you live in a free shared place, it's your job to keep it clean and comfortable for others. It is even absolutely not difficult.
People from the Network kindly helped to find new housing, to move there and gave me a lot of necessary things for my child. What else I can desire?))) I just need to say them "thank you" 100 times)))

Waste Of Time I could have been using my time and resources looking for a program that would have really helped . I never got help with anything. Just phone calls that where rushed. It was so embarrassing .

I learned about the Gabriel Network through a local pregnancy center. When I called I was greeted with a pleasant voice on the other end of the phone. The woman who took my information was very pleasant and seemed genuinely invested in what I was going through at the time. During my stay in the maternity home I was given an opportunity to focus on being a mother. I was also afforded the opportunity to finally cry it out, and simply breathe. Something that didn't seem manageable just a few months prior became possible. The Gabriel Network did not provide me with a handout. They provided me with a hand up. I am forever grateful for the group of individuals that supported me during my time of need.

The Gabriel Network has literally saved the day! I was in contact with Mrs. Cunningham about my specific needs and she went above and beyond to help out. She has truly been a blessing to myself and my family! Thank God for her and this organization!

*UPDATED REVIEW* 11/13/2020: If I could give this organization 10 stars I would! Mary Cunningham is most certainly one of the sweetest people I ve met since moving here after hurricane Harvey in 2017. This time (second time) working with her was so special because she personally reached out to me amidst all of the Covid-19 pandemic chaos and reassured me that she would be more than happy to help me with my unborn child s and also my 18 month old s needs! It was like a beacon of light in a dark time and a breath of fresh air! She even gifted me with a journal titled Bible Promises for Mother s. I will keep it close at all times and treasure it as it will remind me of her grace and willingness to give. She is a wonderful person and has made an everlasting impact on my life. Thank you AGAIN to her and the Gabriel Network Organization. God bless you all

If you leave the Gabriel Network and didn t achieve anything that means you didn t worked hard enough or didn t work on bettering yourself at all, my time there was well spent and it is so sad that I had to leave. Mrs Sophia Tyson, if you ask me I think she s and angel pretending to be a human no one on earth can be so kind and loving she treats every resident in her home as if they were her own kids at least that s how I felt. After my experience at the Gabriel Network you can t tell me that God isn t real and no one on earth can break my faith... they are very strict, but where can you go and there s no rules? They are very simple basic rules none of which would take you out of your comfort zone follow them and your time at the Gabriel Network Will be well spent..

FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! They just give you a place to stay... a room at that. They act strict but the life coaches aren't even involved, very unorganized. There is a curfew and the girls don't follow it. They say once you get there they will help you get a job, housing, etc. THEY DON'T but they will try to take credit for it!! some of the girls bring numerous dudes inside which I can see how they became pregnant, I would not suggest this program at all!!! They had my daughter walk from New Carrolton station to the house in Bowie after work which it was 12 AM by this time and her aunt was dying in the hospital. I would suggest the Covenant House, or St. Anne's, this is not a great program at all!! They only care about the money they get paid for keeping these girls , they do not care about the girls. A lot of favoritism as well.

I participated in a work day with them helping to prepare a house in Gaithersburg. The volunteers' time was used responsibly and productively, and the house itself was well taken care of.

They did a good job of reaching out to volunteers at my church, as well, communicating clear and trustworthy expectations.

Pray for them and for the families they serve!
