Excellent food. The reputation of being one of the best Steakhouses in New York, I am far from having tested them all, but I want to believe it. Very pleasant setting, impeccable service (which is not so frequent in New York) and above all (that's why we come) delicious food. We tasted a Porterhouse Steak for 2 accompanied by mushrooms and French fries: a real treat !!!
A perfectly prepared piece of beef, ideally "rare, bloody" cooking as requested and in addition a very nice pre-cut, even if the extremely tender meat could be cut with a butter knife, see by looking at it.
The mushrooms were really delicious, very tasty, very well seasoned. The French fries were homemade, also very good.
The service was very professional, attentive, refilling the water with no waiting or needing to ask.

The beef was perfectly salted with coarse salt as the addition but it is normal in such a place with such a quality of product and service, nothing excessive either ($ 200 for the Porterhouse for 2, a glass of Chateauneuf excellent Pope, 2 desserts, a double espresso, a cappuccino and 21-22% free).
And note: a very pleasant setting, very typical "Steakhouse" decoration. By cons the restaurant is a bit noisy, but we are in the USA, neither more nor less than the average ...
