For having a distinct lack of options in the Springfield area of power company options, its not that bad of a company. They play ball with you if you play ball with them. Are there instances where it feels like overcharging? Sometimes, but that comes with being the primary source of Power in the city. They have always worked with me at any time that I've had issues, even if its just setting up payment arrangements. They have rules, follow the rules and your golden, try to not follow the rules and not only you, but they, are between a rock and a hard place.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is their deposit policy that increases by $50 if your utilities gets shut off. That is something they never adequately explain on purpose. Basically, if your power gets shut off (not just threatened but actually shut off) they add $50 to your 'Deposit'. So if you move, or leave town, and come back you have to make sure you're 'Deposit' is paid. Normally this is like $150 in most cities. A friend of mine's is $600. If you do not keep your Deposit 'Paid in full' , leave and come back, you have to pay that before they'll turn on any power.

That is one thing about the company I'm not a fan of. Besides that, I love them. They work more with people than most towns I've lived in.
