Immersed in the greenery of Villa Borghese it is simply gorgeous. Every time I travel with the family and we go to a city with the zoo we go to visit it. So I have seen a lot of zoos, but I can say that certainly the bio park in Rome and among the three most beautiful that I have ever seen. Very large, clean, courteous staff. There were not many people so it was nice to be able to visit the animals very calmly. Equipped with picnic and play areas for children. Equipped with interactive areas for children near the animal cages. Good variety of animals. Really large and clean cages. Animals treated well and it was evident that they were well and relaxed. Also as a fairly good price with numerous discount possibilities (see the website under conventions). So surely if you are in Rome, spend a few hours with your children in a place where they can meet and see animals that can hardly be seen in freedom.
