It's a nice place, if you like nature for what it is.
This is not a park in that there is no artificial order to what's out there. So it is a different experience when compared to something like the Boston Commons, where every inch of the park is designed to produce a spectacle to your sight.
This is a wildlife sanctuary. Nature grows as it will, with minimal tending to, just to ensure it doesn't encroach on the human-habitable facilities.
Not to say it's ugly nor boring in the least. Again, depends on what you're after.
My daughter and I enjoy this place. It has lots of sightseeing activities throughout the year and always seems fresh. I encourage everyone to support this organization with their membership, which is like $50 a year- If you're reading this you can probably afford that. These people do great work for the city, state and country in general.
