Salesman: I'm retired military so I want straight to the point. To me the sale pitch was a little long winded all I care about is 1) are they energy efficient 2) how much is it going to cost me? My wife on the other hand cares about color, size, appearance, moldings, handles. So I didn t listen to that part much I just made sure she was happy and paid for the windows.
Customer Service at Andersen: Here is why I give Andersen 4 stars and not 5. When calling to confirm my financing was approved (not sure why they didn t call me) I could never get anyone on the phone, even the option to connect to the front desk went to voice mail a few times. The one time I was able to get a person I was connected to Karen in accounting I believe (not at her desk) and I had to leave a voice mail. I did receive a call back two days later, which it better than the voice mail I left for Tom who never called me back. So if you re calling the Seattle Andersen Office during normal weekday business hours feel lucky if you get hold of someone or if they call you back.
Installation: I was expecting more than just Waylin and Casper to install my 15 windows and slider in three days. First off they arrived on time every day and I mean like 8am on the dot. Waylin talked to me about their work hours and even worked it out with me to work a little longer on Monday and Wednesday so I wouldn t miss coaching my Rugby team on Tuesday. They did a great job of laying down drop cloths and protecting my carpet and hardwood floors. When doing the wood capping on the sliding glass door Waylin made sure to ask my wife if like the style or is she wanted him to change it a bit. On the final walk through Waylin even pointed out a screen to me that got damaged during installation that I would of missed if he didn t show me. You don t find skilled trustworthy people like that working for companies anymore. They did a great job of cleaning even making sure to pick the little pieces of Tyvek paper out of the grass. If all their installation crews work as well as this team did for me it makes up for the crap customer service I got from the Seattle Andersen Office.
