Was approached at a home show to get a free estimate. Was told it would be a quick measure and estimate. 2 hours in of pitching and finding out stuff about us to most likely sell to their partners, he still hadn't even looked at our siding or measured. I wanted to specifically talk about a repair and they wanted to pitch a full siding job saying the repair wasn't possible (without even looking to understand what we were dealing with). It was getting dark out and we had kids to get in bed and he was still trying to get us to pick out designs and in no rush to measure or look at our existing siding. I'm sure I'd feel great about an estimate built off of measurements taken at night. Our energy costs are pretty low but still wanted to push selling more of their product down our throats. Had to kick the guy out bc he was taking too long schmoozing and not taking time to look at the scope of work. Something doesn't sit right about them. Would not recommend wasting your time unless you have time to waste to get to an overpriced estimate. We were at 2 hours with no signs of completion in sight.very inconsiderate of people's time.
