We got there 10 minutes early on the 14th June 2018 and went to the front doors only to be approached by a very rude security lady tapping her watch and telling us 'we don't open until 11' when it reached 1105 they finally opened the doors and started the security searches. Once we had gone through the ticket office (We had a virgin experienece as a birthday gift) we went upstairs to the waiting area. Out time slot was 1115. That time came and went. Only when we went downstairs at 1130 did they tell us that they were still testing the slide. Another hour went by of testing and not giving us updated just telling us to wait upstairs and enjoy the views. (There's only so much of London you can look at) .. they finally opened the slide and we found out that the weather effects the speed of the slide and that is why they couldn't let us on it so I would recommend that you book for a time when the sun is out to ensure no waiting around. Once we got on the slide it was a fun experience but over an hours wait for a 40 second experience is rather excessive.
