Was "upgraded" to the historic side of the hotel. Room was really small, bed wasn't comfortable, hallways were musty smelling. My third night there, I awoke to a repetitive metal clanging outside my door at 5:30 am. The doorman was helping the guy across the hall move his camera equipment using a luggage cart and hadn't bothered to lay a towel or anything to dampen the noise as he lay about 10 metal stands across the frame of the cart. At 5:50 I finally opened the door to ask when they would be done making a such a loud racket, the guy across the hall apologized and they were done about 5 mins later. At that hour, something as basic as laying a towel over the metal frame of the cart would have been an adequate precaution to dampen the noise and not wake other customers. Unimpressed and don't think it's worth the cost.
