cerebral palsy is a very difficult disease. this organization does call me occassionally, but it does not harass me, as some of these reviews suggest. they are always polite. they remind me about donations. they did miss a day once , maybe twice but i just left the items out and they picked them up the next day. there are many high profile organizations -diabetes association, cancer association that are very high profile and get multitude of donations with out canvassing people. this organization is not one of them. cp is not a really common disease and i feel that this is probably an organization that may actually benefit from my donations. i cannot comment on how they use the money, or donations , i hope they use it well. but if you give to value village they are a for profit organization and are just profiting off your donations , if you want to donate to the diabetes association go ahead but they get billions of dollars donated to them , and this organization does not.
