I was greeted by two people at the entrance and said I had no reservation and could they seat me. I was told I could sit in "the lounge" at the back corner of the restaurant. I made it clear before this point that I'd not been to any Outback Steakhouse before and re-qualified with them where they meant.

I took my seat and the waitress was surprised to see me but was very helpful and said she could serve me as I was dining alone. At this time, one of the unhelpful greeters/servers from the entrance said "I said you should sit in the lounge" by which he actually meant bar.

Despite this, my waitress was helpful in explaining some of the menu items and accompanying sauces and did a great job, even offering me a soda to take away. The food was also good and I had no problems with that at all.

Based on this visit I wasn't over enamoured with the place and I'll put it in a backburner if I'm stuck for options but I'd go to Longhorn first if I wasn't a decent stake without the questionable attitude of the "greeters" at Outback.
