This place is a wild mess of elevators. First of all, as a pedestrian trying to find a way in I was faced with only 2 entrances: In front of the fish restaurant on La Ceienga or through the Macys Men's store. Good luck if you're on the San Vincente side - no pedestrian entrances. Once inside, the place is a MAZE of elevators. Some elevators only take you to certain floors, and other elevators take you to other floors. Some elevators you have to press the floor number on the keypad OUTSIDE the elevator, other you can press once you're INSIDE. HA!!! surprise if you got into an elevator and it has no keypad!! NOPE!!! why would you design such a thing?
And to go from one floor to another, I literally had to walk to end of hall, take the CORRECT elevator to another floor, to walk to the other end to take a THIRD elevator down. And I tried escalators but those only stopped at floor 3, and I had to go to yet another round of escalators at the end of the parking lot to actually get DOWN to the first floor, which was actually the Macys men's store. This place is the most CONFUSING place to shop in. It's like a casino that once you enter, they don't want you to find a way out.
When you're on the shopping floors, which is 7, 8 and half of 9, it is hard to get from one floor to another.
Why again is the Men's section of macys on ground level when the rest of macys is 8 and 9 or something like that?
They need to fix this confusing mess of elevators and floors. Has a NORMAL FLOOR plan, and then MAYBE I'll go back. But not ANYTIME soon.
I'd rather go to one of the other MANY malls that DO make sense to navigate.
