Visited the Hall many years ago. I guess they rebuilt the place because it was nothing like the place I first visited. First thing that caught me was its location. It's in some sort of plaza, with other businesses. This struck me as weird.

The place is 3 stories high, with the HOF being located on the top floor with a domed roof which has pictures of the players. My wife has vertigo and this damned near took her out.

the 2nd floor had the displays, some interactive. This was what I enjoyed most. They went over the history of the game, the great coaches, and even those who announced the game. Pretty interesting stuff. The ground floor is simply a place to shoot baskets, with different rims throughout the years. My kids loved this. The 2nd floor was set up like a press box so it was cool to watch my boys shooting hoops from this vantage point.

I live near Cooperstown and the baseball HOF is like a shrine. Quite the museum. But for young kids, it's just a bunch of boring display of old gloves, uniforms and whatnot. My kids had a great time at the basketball HOF. It was definitely worth the trip and I hope we made a memory my kids will look back fondly on.
