Hotel has been undergoing renovations. Room was very nice and quiet. Cave Bar has recently reopened, Bar Manager Vincent was very pleasant and accommodating. Lobby still requires renovations, as carpet looks dirty and needs replacement. Parking lighting also needs to be addressed, either non-working or very dim in many areas, making it a safety concern. Continental breakfast daily, waffles during the week. Fitness center and game room has been reopened. Stayed at hotel for 11 nights and overall pleased with accomodations. Front desk staff were very personable.

***Update 3/2019***
Returned for another stay. Nothing has improved here. Hotel owner is still trying to sell off old golf course land to developer, and developer remains in sqaubble with village on zoning and such. So hotel owner appears to have cash flow issue and has not put in $$$ any renovations, in fact renovations thta were started last visit remain incomplete. Maintenance and repairs also seem to have been ignored. We found mold in shower, reported to front desk, nothing done. Came back late and found housekeeping wasn't even done for the day, front desk tried to make up some week excuse. We just look for clean place to sleep . May need to reconsider where we stay next time we are in the area. Reducing rating until hotel owner starts to pump some $$$ into needed repairs and maintenance.

Still ok place but set expectations accordingly, this is NOT the hotel it was years ago, and unfortunately even pictures that Google has of hotel are very old and misrepresent the current condition of the hotel. Pictures from years ago before current owner took over, closed the golf course, restaurant, spa, etc.

Place could be a real gem.
