We had been frequent visitors with some minor irritations before, but this last visit ended our stays with Travelodge. For the first time we had been asked to pay an additional $150 for a security deposit which was outrageous because it was more than half the cost to rent the actual room. When I questioned the "General Manager" she was rude, uncaring, and unapologetic. My husband tried to lighten the mood with some jokes but she was not impressed. We uad advised her that this would be our last visit due to this new rule, she didn't care. Upon our check out we were advised to have all guests vacate before returning to the office for our deposit, which we did. Wheb my husband went to advise them that we were ready the "general manager" questioned him three times as to whether all guests had vacated and he replies twice before becoming annoyed and raising his voice the third time. At this time I went it to collect our deposit and were informed that my husband was no longer welcome to the property. This lady does not seem to unserstand that she had an attitude since check in and no guest wishes to be met by someone like her. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
