I agree with others: Dilworthtown had better make some changes. This is not the restaurant it used to be, and I've been coming here for 25 years.

SERVICE: We were a party of 7 tonight. Our waitress, Patty, was not good. She was not attentive and disappeared for long stretches (and it was not busy at all.)

She wanted to tell us the specials before we had even ordered drinks. Any experienced waiter would know that's a faux-pas.

It took almost 40 minutes before we were able to order our food, not because we were not ready, because the only person around was the guy filling our water. She delivered a few drinks, but then would scurry off. She never asked if we were ready to order. Finally, I was about to get up and go find her when she appeared for our order.

I ordered a bottle of white for two of the people at the table, and Patty brought out glasses for all of us. One bottle of white can not even fill seven glasses, so I'm not sure what she was thinking. She should have asked "how many glasses." Again, any experienced waiter would have asked this question.

FOOD: My lobster bisque was cold and bland. The esgarcots were equally bland. My $45 steak (ordered medium rare) came medium-well and was tough and dry. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were retirement-home quality, at best.

Total Time: 2.5 hours, and not a good 2.5 hours.

I eat out a lot, and this was sub-par all the way around. Management: I hope you are listening, because you lost a long-time customer tonight.
