UPDATE: In response to the reply from the business - at no point have they tried to call me to talk about what happened. I have no reason to lie about my experience, and you can see from my review history, I'm not one to just go around giving low star reviews to places without thought. My original review stands.

We were using the incentive program to help with some insulation issues in our home. They had someone come to create the initial quote. When the workers came, they tried to get us to agree to thousands of dollars of additional work outside of the initial contract we signed, and would not perform the work contracted unless we agreed to the additional work. We tried to contact American Installations about it, and they said their "workers don't do that". I called Columbia Gas' incentive program immediately to let them know about the situation, because it was coming off like a scam. They connected us with a verified contractor through them who gave us an accurate quote and contract, and have me filing a formal report with their fraud department.

If you are looking for someone to work with using the Mass Save program, do not use this company. Call your gas company directly and work with the provider they can verify will do the process legally and correctly.

I gave an additional star because while I had to ask three times via email and phone for a refund of my initial deposit, they did refund my deposit.
