We had a bad experience here. My wife and I were trying to purchase a new Hyundai Santa Fe from the O Brien Hyundai dealership in Ft. Myers. We had constant trouble with the communication. We had been told twice that we will do the deal and that s a deal , when it turns out we didn t. I had asked for the numbers in writing, and had gotten the wrong vehicle listed and I could not get proper details behind the numbers. I then took a different approach and asked for the out the door price. I could not seem to get that number confirmed in any writing. I got many text messages and phone conversations that were rude and unclear.
Hyundai website and O'Brien's website advertises Shopper Assurance, Car Buying made simple, Transparent pricing, Streamline purchase , and stress-free car shopping . Our experience did not have any of these.
This seems to be a trend in the car sales business in Florida. Their websites advertise a price and when you try to make a deal, you cannot get that price. There are dealer fees added on and credits you don't get.
