This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. The complex deserves zero stars.

When I moved in:
The place was never cleaned before I moved in. The roommate I was matched with told me not to use the front burners on the stove. When I asked him why he said "because they catch on fire." He said he called maintenance about it a few times and they said nothing was wrong. I found out the issue was that the people who had been living there had never cleaned the stove before, so the gunk was all catching on fire when you use the front burners.

While living there:
I was plagued constantly by roaches and flies. I can only assume the cause of the pests were either from previous tenants or neighbors since I've never had this problem in the last two places I lived. They offer pest services to come by and put bait out to get rid of the pests, but they made me call every week to get the exterminator to come out. I asked for them to put me on recurring services to just have the exterminator come every week without me calling but they refused. They said they did not want to pay for unneeded services if the problem was fixed and I never called to cancel them, but the problem has never been fixed. I noticed a lot of the roaches running behind the oven, so I decided to pull it out and try to clean behind it since I was sure it had never been cleaned. To put it bluntly, the oven was absolutely infested with roaches. After seeing how many were living in the oven I didn't even try to clean it. I just pulled the whole oven outside and asked management to replace it. Luckily they did replace the oven, otherwise I'd be living without an oven. Not too long ago I noticed a weird smell coming from my Keurig coffee machine, and I noticed a roach run into it. Yep, same thing happened to my coffee machine, which I use every day. I took the bottom off to find that it was absolutely infested with roaches and I have been using it every day. Their only redeeming feature is that when I asked them to replace it, they did without question. It was only after replacing my Keurig that they agreed to have the exterminator come every week, but now I'm about to move out in a month, so too little too late.

I have had about five occurrences of water flooding my apartment. Either from water lines bursting in the walls or the people upstairs flooding their apartment which in turn floods mine. There are several spots in the ceiling where mold is starting to grow and water has damaged the ceiling or drywall.

There is a homeless shelter across the street, so there are always bums walking around out front of the complex. I used to go running early in the morning on the streets around here, but since there are always bums around I've stopped.

The last time I went to the pool we found what looked like an old waterlogged hot dog floating around, and you always feel slimy after getting out of it. The hot tub turned my friend's pants pink.

Half of the equipment is missing/broken at the "fitness center."

My car started squeaking every time I go over their ridiculously large speed bumps. It's a 2010 with 60,000 miles, I baby the car and it never squeaked before I started going over these bumps.

For some reason there are always small children running around down the street from my apartment even though this is supposed to be student housing.

Moving out:
I'm still living here. Yep, this is my last month here before I move out. I am stuck here on July 4th (Independance Day) because my car was towed out of the parking lot of the complex that I live in. The towing company don't care about anyones problems and won't give me my car back, and nobody is here to do anything to get my car back. I should be going somewhere to watch the fireworks and have fun, but no, I'm stuck because of the place I live.

Edit:
It is now July 5th, and they refuse to return my car. They are actually threatening to have me arrested for not leaving the office.
