Valley Scare was fun until closer to the end of the night when we encountered two separate situations with very rude staff members. We were shocked to have encountered such a bad attitude from the staff. As we were in one of the haunted areas Berserkers Unleashed one of the actors yelled at our children who were minors to the point to where we were in between thinking is he acting or actually yelling at our children( He yelled very loudly to the point to where his voice screeched Turn Around!! . We realized he was actually yelling at them in a horrific voice when he made a racist statement towards them and said Don t you understand English , which by that point we realized he was actually yelling at them with all his might. It is a haunted place and it was difficult to see towards what direction to go to as it is dark and it was unprofessional & unethical on how he addressed the minors. As we exited that attraction and headed to the corn maze we again encountered another rude staff member at the front of the line who was giving entry. He was trying to address one of the minors that was with us in a rude way so therefore I addressed him and gave him our group quantity and he was very rude and just stated, I do not need to know how many are in your group and I said , I do not know what is real or not because in every single line that we formed tonight we were asked how many people were in our group and that we had already encountered a bad situation he then reconsidered his actions and said Because I know everything! It was a great night and to have this negative behavior thrown at us towards closing time really ruined our night. I understand they encounter a high amount of volume of people but we had no control over people choosing to make it their vocation. We also encountered one of the walking actors harassing one of the minors knowing we were right there he directed himself to him and said
If you touch me you will get kicked out of the park he was not even close to him, the actor walked up to him. The park has many great things to offer but it just really took from the whole experience as our children were upset at these negative encounters. It just makes you believe that there is a lack in ethical behavior and proper training should really be implemented. This park is suppose to be family oriented and with the negative behavior shown by it s own staff it just did not reflect the values that were presented in their advertisement towards family friendliness which is being sold to us under false pretenses and it causes mistrust.
