The landscaping in the gardens is absolutely stunning. An incredible amount of work and thought has clearly gone into making the various areas flow into each other and creating beautiful displays. Good signage and information throughout, particularly labels amongst the trees and plants to help you identify the different species.
It gets quite busy around midday. The earlier the better so you can have the place to yourself for a little while.
