1. Received notice that my package will be deliver...

1. Received notice that my package will be delivered to my home by 9 PM. Would not be home to receive package and arranged online for it to be held for pick up at this Brampton location. After making arrangements online, a message said it would notify me when package is ready for pick up. (This all takes place on Thursday morning)

2. DID NOT RECEIVE NOTICE, so checked online for the status of my package the next day at 1PM. Online store shows it was ready for pick up a half hour earlier. Annoyed at this point, because I could have easily picked up package before heading to work, and they would be closed once I finish work.

3. AFTER WAITING THREE DAYS (because they are not open on weekends), I finally head over to pick up my package on Monday morning, but I'm told they don't have my package, because they sent it to the other side of the city (Scarborough) 45 min away from my home. I inquire why it's on the other side of the city when I specifically asked for my package to be sent at THIS location. Employee checks his computer and shows me that it was definitely to be placed on hold for pick up at this location, but also tells me the driver must have mistakenly took it, but they will definitely have my package ready for pick up the next day, Tuesday, or I can drive for 45 min to the other side of the city to pick it up in Scarborough. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!)

4. Now TUESDAY, I call customer service to inquire about the status of my package only to be told that it's still in Scarborough, but they will contact me once it's ready for pick up.

5. TWO DAYS LATER IT IS NOW THURSDAY. I finally receive a call to let me know that my package is ready for pick up. IT HAS TAKEN A FULL WEEK FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY PACKAGE.
Here's the best part. "By the way, you owe taxes on this package." They made me wait for a full week because of their incompetency, and THEY MADE ME PAY FOR IT. What's even more mind-bIowing is that I wasn't even offered a single apology by any employee. NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE EVEN OFFERED A SIMPLE, SORRY.

This was and will be my first and last experience dealing with DHL, period. I am only thankful that I was able to even see my package arrive at all after going through this experience, and now I can see why this place has such poor reviews.
