I've never written a review;honestly, I never thought of looking online. I was sent a questionnaire about my stay which I returned.
If you unfortunate enough to go into Critical Care or Intensive Care, you will probably get the best doctor in the world who, before she became a Hospitalist for Prov Ev was in a medical group specializing in pulmonary medicine. She was my physician then and SHE SAVED MY LIFE!! Her name is Dr. Julie Wood.. She admitted me with r sided heart failure & a diagnosis no one else knew - primary arterial pulmonary hypertension, pretty rare at the time and critical. I received the very BEST care in CCU..This happened beforethe new tower, but still a wonderful experience. The food was good too!! And I was impressed once I began to feel better, with the menu.. I taken friends to the ER, and yes, it is crowded and understaffed.. I agree.. but I came in by 911 with what was diagnosed later as severe dehydration.. They were more than attentive - yes I waited for the oncall ER physician, but they hooked up iv''s, did blood work right away and admitted me. So please for those reading these reviews, don't eliminate Providence for your healthcare. They are a Level II trauma center - do you really want to go down to Harborview, a Level I trauma care.. unless you are in a car accident and unconscious, the police call 911 and they many times do take you down to Seattle. I was grateful I was in Everett, my home, so friends could visit me when I was allowed visitors.. Today I am still grateful to be alive and thank Providence for the excellent care I got.
