Firstly- the owners Natasha and Mark were both Extremely pleasant and very helpful and accommodating.
Upon me and my Husbands arrival, we were pleasantly and enthusiastically greeted by Natasha. We had originally booked the Blue Jay room, but Natasha upgraded us to the Bear lodge for no additional cost.
The lodge was newly renovated and felt very comfortable and fresh. The view from the bedrooms and deck were fantastic! They overlooked the south side of Estes Lake, and the night we stayed, we caught an awesome lightening show in the distance beyond the mountains, it was truly mesmerizing! The Inn has everything you need- from great wifi service to BBQs, fireplaces, kitchen, flat screen TV, and most importantly- hospitality from the truly amazing inn keepers- Natasha and Mark. They were so sweet and caring, they truly made us feel welcomed.
On a scale of 1-10, I rate Etses Lake Lodge a 9.9. Everything was above and beyond, I would only improve on the bed, in which a simple comfort foam topper would definitely do the trick! ;)
The location is veerrry convenient as well!- just minutes from all the shops, restaurants, and an easy 20 minute drive to Bear Lake (where our favorite trail heads are).
