Whale watching and snorkle/SNUBA tour end of March...

Whale watching and snorkle/SNUBA tour end of March 2017.
We couldn't figure out from the directions exactly where to catch the boat so we had to call. Check in was easy. They provide a really thick sunscreen, which was wonderful to protect our pale skin.

The boat took us not far from shore in a very pretty snorkeling area. Half my family went snorkeling and the other half learned to SNUBA. Everyone had a great time. After we got back on board, lunch was served - hamburgers, hotdogs, vegetables, drinks. Everything was really good.

During lunch, the captain took us over to where whales have been sighted, a mama and a baby and an escort. He kept us moving near the whales for probably 45 minutes. He also was good about pointing out where they were since we didn't know what to look for exactly.

I think what impressed me most was how incredibly helpful crew members were. They waited on those with mobility issues as well as help them move about the boat so they could see different things.

I wear glasses and was concerned about how to use snorkeling gear with my glasses. I had brought my prescription goggles with me just in case. However, this boat was so well-equipped that they had prescription snorkeling goggles that I could use.
