Our 10 yr old son broke both bones in his arm while at school. We went to MMC ER and had the fastest and best care by the SIU ortho residents and DR Graves. We knew exactly what they were doing. We knew exactly what they were looking for and the plan to realign his arm. When we followed up at OCI a week later we were greeted by super friendly staff at the front desk and the X-ray dept. Then when we were called back to the exam room the nurses were so friendly and patient with him and listening to his story. Dr Graves reviewed his X-rays and spoke to my son as the patient and asked if there was any questions and took the time to listen to those questions and answered them personally. The follow up and casting process was explained step by step. No he wasn t a spine patient but I still want to put out there that the compassion and time from this surgeon, no matter the issue, is there.
