I would classify Regence BC/BS service as more criminal than anything else. After using them for two years to provide my business health plan for my employees and suffering nothing but horrible service, I cancelled the plan in early December of 2018 and received confirmation that the plan would be cancelled as of 12.31.2018. In early January 2019 they debited my business account for a full payment for the plan that had already been confirmed as cancelled, without any valid authorization. This caused my account to not have enough money to cover rent and payroll checks that was now due. After several frustrating calls to their member services department, I was assured that the money would be returned to my account within 48 hours. That deadline has now passed and the money has still not been returned to me. Taking money out of an account without authorization is theft, pure and simple, and Regence seems to not care in the slightest regarding their own criminal behavior. Stay away at all costs.
