Over the past few weeks my wife and I have been dealing with Granite International LLC. Upon out first visits there we came prepared with measurement's, pictures, questions, and concerns. From the beginning we were told that our project would not be a problem. We followed up with them a few times after that once at the home show and a couple more in their store to pick out our granite type and set up dates. Once again we were assured that our project would not be a problem. With all the pictures and measurements we brought them they were very confident and reassured that they could do this project. The gentleman who came out to measure our counter tops was great. He also addressed some of our concerns and assured us that or counter top was no problem. He was there for about an hour and a half measuring and taking pictures. Two days later my wife received a phone call from Granite International asking for her to call them back. When she did she was told that Granite International was now unsure if they could do our countertops because they no longer felt comfortable doing them and felt that their work would not be up to our standards. I live in a 1930s home in the middle of Bville, its not like we are in a multimillion dollar home here. After this call my wife received another call from the man who did all the measuring who stated the same thing that they were not comfortable doing the job. He also said he was going to call the owner and discuss our project more with him and call us back. Needless to say that never happened. When he never called back that day we called Granite International and asked for him. The lady who answered the phone told us he had left for the day so my wife said to the lady that we are expecting a call back so we know if we have to move on to another company. We did receive a call back, no not from the owner but from a worker stating that we are going to be refunded our deposit and that they are not going to take the job anymore. When asked why we were never given a specific answer and just told the same as before which was that they don't feel comfortable and they don't think it would meet our standards. I am very disappointed that we were lead on for months and now currently have no countertops going in and no sink in our kitchen. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We are currently in conversation with another company and are about another month out of having our kitchen back.
