Not productive. A year and a half ago when I Purchased a used 2010 Ford Escape along with a 3 year extended warranty from the previous owner; the warranty turned out to be worthless; earlier this year I went in to a local Ford Dealership for an oil change; I was told that my vehicle needed front seals at a cost of over $700.00; when the Dealership called the Extended warranty Insurance Company; they were told that the Insurance set a replacement cost at $225.00,; my deductible is $250.00; so the Insurance was no help at all.
Why would a Dealership sale an Extended Warranty to a customer that would not cover the cost they charge for required work.
