The Bridge of Rio - Antirrio or, officially, the "Charilaos Trikoupis" Bridge is a cabled bridge that was completed and came into operation in 2004 between Rio (suburb of Patras) and Antirrio, connecting the Peloponnese with the western mainland Greece and up and more broadly with the rest of Europe.
