We pass through Verona quite a bit for sporting events. A friend told us we should stop here for donuts. Wow!!! I don't even like cake donuts, but their fry cakes were amazing! The have different flavors each day. Go in the morning. They do sell out. The grocery store is clean, well-organized, and the people are very friendly.
