They nickel and dime students for all their worth....

They nickel and dime students for all their worth. They're the reason campus food and parts of campus living are so expensive. The Village is a joke. The apartments are run down and they charge more to share a bedroom with someone than it would be to rent your own room off campus. I understand it's conveniently located, but the university system is not for profit. Their rates should be accomodating to students and they're not. Taxpayers fund them and they should be doing everything to keep costs down. They don't.

They do offer jobs to college students, but they purposely limit the hours you can work if you're not in management. If you work too much, you're laid off. I rented the cheapest option they had in the Village and was working the max hours a week (I worked for the Foundation) and still couldn't afford the rent for SHARING A BEDROOM. The rent amount isn't even competitive with the surrounding market and they take advantage of the fact that they have a direct line to taxpayer money.
