I miss this place so much. And while I have seen other comments that say the contrary, that was not my experience here. Before AAG I went to Trails Carolina, which I also loved. But when I came here I still had a lot more work to do. AAG welcomed me with open arms and I started to begin the journey that changed my life and that I will cherish forever. While it is true that there were some staff that weren t my favorite but you have to understand that your not going to see eye to eye with everybody and your not going to agree with everyone, but either way, the staff that I didn t like the most still wanted the best for me, and were there to help, some just had different approaches on things. AAG does focus a lot on therapy, but they also make sure you have fun. For example, for my last week there I got to dye my staff s beard PINK! I have made so many friends here that I still keep in touch with. The academics here are amazing and were perfect for me. My therapist there was Jane Rosseth and she was the best therapist I have ever had. She helped me and my family tremendously. I cannot thank her enough. I miss her so much and would come see her in a heartbeat. AAG isn t the right fit for everyone but it was for me and hope it is for everyone else.
