Can t speak highly enough of this brilliant place....

Can t speak highly enough of this brilliant place. I returned 3 times during my time in Barcelona (this isn t typical for me- I like to try new places).

These are the nicest patatas bravas I had in Spain (mainly because they re a bit luxurious and not normal). Once I came just for those!

Another visit we arrived at prime time and they managed to find us a table for 5 people without a reservation. I was shocked but so thankful I could show my friends this spot.

We ate tuna tataki, beetroot carpaccio with king prawns, the truffle gnocchi (incredible and I don t even like gnocchi), aged beef diced with cheese sauce, aged beef tataki. All were simply incredible. Delicate flavour where needed and everything cooked to perfection. Especially the aged beef. Wow.

We also ate 3 desserts but thanks to how much wine we ordered I can t remember the exact ingredients. One was like French toast with a delicious ice cream, another was little dumpling pillows with a rosemary ice cream (acquires taste but I loved it) and then strawberries with a balsamic style drizzle and whipped cream.

The waiter was very knowledgeable about the great range of wines. Cocktails looked amazing too but we did not indulge.

The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and fast. Couldn t fault them for a moment!
