The location of the property is convenient to spot...

The location of the property is convenient to spots in Monterey and everything was clean. The 3rd floor room was nice (and recommended due to larger patios, more privacy, better views). However, a few things to note: extra charges (incl self parking and breakfast) and small breakfast bags. The app with digital key failed many times at the elevator and room, so I recommend getting a physical keycard. The 'clean seal' did not work as intended (does not always tear to indicate room entry). I'm giving it 4 stars for the hotel itself but the experience here would get 3 stars.
