I've been coming here since at least 2012. I love frequenting this place, and I love introducing friends here. In a city of excessive attempts to making glorious desserts, Genki keeps it simple and familiar - fruit, cream, and sauce, wrapped in a thin, but crispy crepe.

Genki is an easy option for dessert, because with so many combinations, one is bound to match your cravings. My favorite is getting a strawberries and whip cream crepe with an added scoop of ice cream occasionally.

Though there's sometimes a line, it moves fast, and the staff works efficiently to get your order ready for you. Parking can be a struggle on high traffic days, so bus or Uber if possible.

Tucked away a street or two over from Geary, I like that it's located on a street that's a little quieter. When I come here, I am reminded what I love about San Francisco.
