We were staying at The Westin for a wedding this past weekend. A lot of people in the wedding party stayed at the hotel. When we arrived we were upgraded to the club level because they couldn t get us on the same floor as the bride and groom. We thought, this is great. We got to our room and even though the thermostat was at 65 degrees it was HOT! We later went to the sidebar where we were supposed to have reserved seating and we had people sitting in our section. No one did anything. Also, even though everyone in our group was paying for their own drinks we later found out that we were pre-charged gratuity. The mixed drinks were terrible! I had a raspberry lemon drop and it tasted like grapefruit juice! Our party was harassed by the bar manager when we were outside. The bar manager kept following everyone around and he just looked pissed off all the time. He was not very courteous at all. The next morning we were going to meet our party in the club level for breakfast and come to find out it was closed! The front desk didn t know about it and should have been informed. We got a comped breakfast in the restaurant. The service there was terrible! We had a party of around 10 people. No joke, the waitress took 3 people in our party s order and left the rest of us sitting there for over 10 minutes when the 3 people got their food! What!?!? How do you miss that many people? The bride and groom kept letting the front desk know of all these problems and we weren t the only people with our rooms being hot. We all made complaints. Upon checking out the front desk lady asked how our stay was and when we said it was terrible she asked, did you let anyone know ...really!? We all let them know. It was like a slap in the face. Not all too excited to stay at another Westin!
