While the Main photo of The Montana has it domineering the slope of Lucerne it in fact sits comfortably midst it's neighbors. Parking is just across from it on a small sloping road and you arrive one floor up from reception. I selected the room for the bath overlooking the lake and was delighted in every aspect of the room. The hotel shimmers with color and style yet not overpowering. The staff from front desk to room service are accommodating and genial. To simply sit on the balcony and take in the view of this lovely city was a pleasure... but make sure you take their cable car down to the street below and walk this amazing lake while looking back at this wonderful hotel.
