A couple of years ago I contacted Clever Canines in regards to my leash reactive dog. I told them she was large and very aggressive when leashed. They swore up and down they could help my dog with their classes. I spent a HUGE amount of money on the class and showed up to where they told me to meet them. It was the middle of downtown with hustle and bustle and many other dogs around. Naturally my dog was out of her mind. After a few attempts at getting her to settle down the people at Clever Canines asked me to work with my dog alone (yes alone, no trainer) in an alley. Once in a while they would come check on me and then leave.
After the first lesson one of them brought a spiked starmark collar for my dog. I was so insulted and upset that they wanted me to train my dog by causing pain to her. I said no. They sent me back to the alley. I continued to try their methods but at NO POINT IN TIME did they address the fact that she was leash reactive. They just sauntered around with the puppies and well behaved dogs in the main area and sent me off to an alley.
It was disgusting and horrible and every time I see the Clever Canines brand I get choked up. It was a lot of money down the drain and completely not worth it.
These people were only interested in getting my money, promising me results, then working with the well behaved dogs.
I wish I could give less than one star.

Edit: As per the response you won't have this name on file as this is not my actual last name. Yes, it was Clever Canines and I did contact you about it and you never replied. Which is why I took to Google Reviews - I will always try the civil approach first. I will try again to contact you directly.
