This place is absolutely horrific. I have heard bad things about this place, but actually experiencing it is even worse. We were sent here (not by choice) by ambulance after my wife had a seizure. She had postpartum eclampsia and the ER and ICU doctors had absolutely no idea how to treat her and did things that not only were unnecessary and caused undue suffering, but could have killed her. I even had an ICU resident admit they were unsure of what they were doing. Instead of listening to the OB team (you know, the experts on conditions of pregnancy), they did things that didn't make sense. My wife's OB (out of Henry Ford Macomb) even said they were idiots and they did things that made absolutely no sense.

If you are having a baby, please think twice about delivering out of a hospital who is unsure of how to take care of you if something goes wrong. We are in the process of filing complaints to the Michigan Medical Board against the doctors. Filing a complaint at the hospital is of no good either because they deny and say they did everything correctly. However, discussions with OB and MFM doctors tell me their treatment was not only unnecessary, but dangerous as well. Don't take your loved one here!
