I've always been a kid at heart when visiting the Zoo. It's always been something I enjoy doing no matter the location or scale of the Zoo. This one is large in scale, with many different "sections."

Now that I have a little man myself, we've taken him a couple of times and its even more enjoyable. I do wish that there'd be more areas to visit when it is rainy and cold. A lot of the sections have no cover. I realize it's be difficult to cover all of the areas, but maybe having a complete section of the Zoo that had cover would work better. Or have a section to drive through like some other zoos?

It's a place to visit of your in the Portland area. The Zoo lights at Christmas time is also a great experience for kids.

Best to pack your own food though, as the food can be pricey and not the best tasting or selection.
